French photographer, Normann Szkop, ventured up in a personally chartered plane to capture these aerial images of Anna Paulowna's tulip fields, located in the Northern Netherlands.
This edition of 'Behind the Edge' features Jesolo Beach, Venice.
Nature provided the inspiration and Bjarki filled in the rest, working in a big warehouse during one night shift to create the series. He says working through the night influenced the work; the images have a silent and glow-in-the-dark feel to them.
These photos have been selected from Michael Wolf's 'Architecture of Density', which captures a haunting modern day Hong Kong, and the seemingly endless buildings of the mega city. When taken at face value these images bring to mind geometric patterning and cellular life as opposed to home and hearth.
