Lan Truong is an illustrator and graphic designer living in Brooklyn, NY. In addition to working as a permanent member of the BUST Magazine staff, Truong pursues her passion for art independently. She maintains a tumblr with some of her work displayed, and you can also see more of her work on her personal website. Truong's work focuses on the simplicity of lines and geometry, re-envisioning our everyday surroundings to focus more on their geometric composition. The Art of the French Postcard

In the 1920s, pornography of any kind was completely illegal, though tame by today’s standards, ‘candid’ images of women hinting at what exists behind their undergarments was absolutely erotic. Men (mainly) would trade postcards with scantily clad women on them, most of the cards were made in France and shipped overseas, hence became known as French Postcards.
